Independent candidate for Indiana Secretary of State Greg Ballard is reacting to Beau Bayh’s Democratic nomination for Indiana Secretary of State.
Ballard said he welcomes Bayh into the race, but he says there is more to being an independent than just pretending not to be a Democrat.
Ballard claims that Bayh is still beholden to the party insiders who gave him the Democratic nomination.
He also says he looks forward to Bayh bravely using the word ‘Democrat’ on his website and in the bio of his social media accounts where it has yet to appear.

How many generations of the Bayh family do Hoosiers have to deal with? Does he really live in Indiana. His forefathers abandoned this state after their terms in office ended. “Hey look him over, he’s our kind of guy. His first name is Birch his last name is Bayh.” Nearly 70 years on I can still remember that election jingle. It makes me want to throw up………..
