Governor Mike Braun has declared a state of disaster emergency for 63 Indiana counties following this week’s devastating storms.
The 30-day emergency declaration immediately mobilizes state resources and unlocks financial aid through the State Disaster Relief Fund to help families and local governments recover from severe flooding and tornadic activity.
Impacted Hoosiers can apply for individual assistance right now through the Indiana Department of Homeland Security website.
