A woman has been arrested in connection with a shooting that injured a Benton Township man.

Police say a 49-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the neck Friday night and was found near Highland Street and South Fair Avenue.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.

A 50-year-old woman was taken into custody Sunday. Her name has not yet been released as she awaits arraignment.
