Gov. Braun announces Indiana State Parks expansion

Governor Mike Braun has announced a major expansion for Indiana State Parks.
Starting July 1st, more than 1,400 acres of northern Indiana forestland will transition to state park management.
Salamonie River and Frances Slocum state forests will be paired with nearby reservoir properties.
State officials say popular activities like hiking, camping, and horseback riding will continue, with campsite reservations opening up this August.
