A teenager charged in a Michigan City double homicide will face trial as an adult.
LaPorte County prosecutors say 15-year-old Mason Schoen has been waived into adult court. He was 14 at the time of the alleged killings.
The case stems from an October 2025 welfare check at a home on Schofield Court, where officers found two people dead.
Investigators say Schoen was later found after crashing a vehicle into a tree.
