Governor Mike Braun is expanding workforce training and boosting wages for family service workers through the Power Up Indiana program.
The initiative supports employers in childcare, counseling and family services, requiring wage increases of at least 25 percent while helping workers gain new skills.
State officials say the program strengthens career pathways, improves employee retention and expands access to services families depend on across Indiana.
Funding is already supporting workforce development efforts at organizations including Twin Springs Counseling and Smarty Pants Daycare Ministries.
