A Goshen man was injured Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 33 just north of Goshen.

The crash happened around 3:40 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 33 and Glenmore Avenue.

According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office, a 77-year-old Elkhart woman driving a 2016 Hyundai Elantra was attempting to turn into a produce stand when she failed to yield to an oncoming motorcycle.

Investigators say the motorcycle, operated by a 35-year-old Goshen man, struck the passenger side of the Hyundai. The impact ejected the motorcyclist from the bike.

The rider was taken to Elkhart General Hospital with a head laceration and leg pain. The driver of the Hyundai was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
