A New Paris man accused of driving drunk and causing a crash that killed two children will have more time.

Forty-year-old Jason Hoover faces six charges after a pickup truck struck a horse-drawn cart in February.

The Goshen News says eight-year-old Jenna Miller and seven-year-old Derek Bontrager died.

Hoover’s trial was moved from October 19 to February 1, and a public defender was appointed Thursday.
