Two children reported missing in Knox have been found safe in Porter County following an extensive search.

Knox Police say officers spent much of the day and overnight investigating the children’s whereabouts.

Police worked with surrounding law enforcement agencies, as well as the Knox Community School Corporation’s I-T department, teachers and staff.

Neighbors also volunteered to provide information and search areas where the children might have been located.
