Elkhart County Parks will host a free Grief Walk from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at Ox Bow County Park.

The event offers people who have lost a loved one a quiet place to reflect and connect with others.

Participants can walk at their own pace and visit reflection stations, including therapy dogs, a mobile ofrenda, ashes of remembrance and petal drops.

Organizers recommend comfortable walking shoes and clothing suited to the weather.

The walk is being held with the Dunlap Branch of the Elkhart Public Library and Ryan’s Place.
