Missing Elkhart County man may be in danger

A 62-year-old Elkhart County man was reported missing by his wife and may be in danger.

  • UPDATE: Steven Arko was found at about 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016

 Steven R. Arko was last seen at 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, at his home in the 60700 block of C.R. 19, the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department said. He may have left in a red 2002 Chevy S10 pickup truck with Indiana license plate RLN576.

Arko is described as a white man 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes.

He hasn’t been taking prescribed medications.

Anyone with information about Arko is asked to call the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department at 574-533-4151.
