Bremen woman killed in single vehicle crash in rural Marshall County

A 57-year-old Bremen woman was killed when her vehicle crashed in rural Marshall County at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, April 13.

Carolyn L. Dill was found in a 1999 Grand Mercury Grand Marquis that was upside down in a water filled ditch along 9B Road east of Gumwood Road, Indiana State Police said. Her seat belt was still on.

Police could tell that the vehicle ran off the east side of the road, traveled down an embankment and then flipped onto its roof and came to a rest in the ditch.

Officers are still investigating what caused the crash.
