Indiana Toll Road bans some semis from roadway starting Friday night through Saturday night

For the second time this week, some semis will be banned from the Indiana Toll Road.

Beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, all triple trailers, long-double trailers, high-profile oversize permit loads and steel haulers will be banned from the road between mile markers 24 and 144, according to tweets from the Indiana Toll Road.

Heavy snow and high winds are expected to begin Friday night and last through Saturday, Feb. 13, making road conditions dangerous. The ban is expected to expire at 7 p.m. Saturday.
