A 19-year-old Michigan City man was arrested Thursday, Feb. 11, after police found thousands of images of child pornography on computers he owned.

Noah Dombrowsky was charged with possession of child pornography as a level 6 felony, which carries a maximum sentence of 2 ½ years in prison.

Dombrowsky was arrested after officers were alerted that someone saw suspected child porn on an electronic device he owned, Northwest Indiana Times reported. Police found thousands of images on several computers and other electronic devices in his home while they executed a search warrant.

The images showed children and young teenagers engaged in sex acts.
