Snow and rain showers possible on Friday in northern Indiana as storm moves through Midwest

Friday the 13th may very well be slightly unlucky for Michiana residents fearing the return of a certain four-letter word.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a 40 percent chance of rain and snow showers throughout the day on Friday, Nov. 13, in northern Indiana.

The snow and rain mix comes as a cold front moves through Michiana starting Wednesday night, bringing a storm with it.

The snow won’t be enough to blanket the ground if it even happens at all, but the forecast is a reminder that winter is indeed coming for Michiana.

That storm features cold temperatures, strong wind gusts of up to 50 mph, rain and snow. Read more about it in the full forecast from ABC 57 Chief Meteorologist Tom Coomes.
