Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito to speak at Notre Dame in November

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito is scheduled to take part in a panel discussion next month at the University of Notre Dame.

The South Bend Tribune reports Alito will be on campus Nov. 18 for a discussion on a book co-authored by Paolo Carozza, a Notre Dame law professor and director of the Kellogg Institute for International Studies. The book’s title is “Italian Constitutional Justice in a Global Context.”

The event is free and open to the public.

Alito will be the second Supreme Court justice to visit Notre Dame this semester. Justice Sonia Sotomayor spoke at the school in September.
