37-year-old man dead after shooting on Queen Street in South Bend

St. Joseph County Metro Homicide is investigating a shooting reported early Sunday morning in South Bend.

South Bend Police Department officers were called to Queen Street in South Bend for the shooting, according to 95.3 MNC’s news partners ABC 57. St. Joseph County Metro Homicide also were called to Queen Street and took photographs of the scene.

A victim, identified as William Morgan Collier, 37, was found shot at least one time in a pick-up truck, ABC 57 reported. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Police ask that anyone with information contact St. Joseph County Metro Homicide or Michiana Crime Stoppers.
