A 20-year-old woman was arrested after an 18-year-old man arrived at Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital with a stab wound early Monday morning, Aug. 17.

While at the hospital, the man told Dowagiac Police Department officers that he involved in an argument at Vineyard Place Apartments when the 20-year-old woman stabbed him, according to a news release from the department. The suspect was also injured, but it wasn’t clear how.

The woman was found at a different location and arrested after she was treated for her injuries.

Both the victim and the suspect did not have life-threatening injuries, according to a news release.

The name of the suspect will be released after she is arraigned.
