Search continues for suspects in deadly Benton Harbor shooting

Police are still searching for the killer or killers of a 32-year-old man gunned down in Benton Harbor, Mich.

Ronnie Polo Lindsey was found laying on the sidewalk in the 900 block of Lavette Street at about 1:20 a.m. March 30, according to previous reporting. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators do not believe this was a random shooting.

A red Dodge Magnum and a silver-gray Chrysler 200 were found near the scene and the suspects may have been in the vehicles prior to the shooting, according to a news release from the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office.

Crime Stoppers is offering $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in Lindsey’s death.
