SOUTH BEND — A GoFundMe page has been set up to help a family of seven displaced from their home after a fire early Sunday morning.

The fire was reported just before 1 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of North Leland Avenue in South Bend, according to 95.3 MNC’s news partners at ABC 57 News.

Firefighters rescued one person who was still inside the house when they arrived and nobody was injured. The back of the house was heavily damaged by the fire and the home next door had some minor damage, ABC 57 news reported.

A married couple and their children live in the home, ABC 57 reported. The children range in age from two months to 12 years old.

Friends of one of the adults set up a GoFundMe page to help the family pay for anything they need, including repairs to the home. Fourteen people had donated $643 to the page as of 7 a.m. Monday, March 13.
