A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 9:00am

Your morning drive may be tricky as patchy, dense fog has settled in the area.

Some areas are clear of fog, while others are socked in.

The National Weather Service say visibility is less than a quarter-mile in some spots.

We’ve heard from some of our listeners that U.S. 6 between Ligonier and Nappanee is down to less than 100 ft. visibility. Also, the fog is thick in spots along U.S. 31 between South Bend and Plymouth. The further west you are in the listening area, the less the fog is a factor. However, if you are driving east of Elkhart County along the toll-road or toward Warsaw or Fort Wayne, the fog could be more dense.

Be sure to watch your speed, use your regular beam headlights, even after daylight hits, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
