April 6 is last day for voter registration in Indiana

Monday, April 6, is the last day to register to vote for the 2015 municipal primary elections in Indiana. 

Municipal primary elections are May 5 and voter registration begins again May 19, according to the Indiana Election Division

To register to vote, you must meet the following requirements, according to Indiana Voters:  

  • Be a U.S. citizen and resident of Indiana 
  • At least 18 years old 
  • Have lived in your precinct for at least 30 days before the election date 
  • Not be imprisoned for a criminal conviction

Registration can be completed in person at any Indiana BMV branch or register online
