U.S. 20 Bypass blocked east of Ironwood exit after multi-vehicle crash

A 16-year-old moped driver was injured in a multi-vehicle crash on the U.S. 20 Bypass on Wednesday morning, April 29.

The crash was reported just after 8 a.m. just east of the Ironwood Road exit. Traffic was blocked in the westbound lanes and restricted to one lane in the eastbound lanes, according to several 95.3 MNC listeners.

The teen’s leg was injured after he crashed his moped into a stalled car on the shoulder of the bypass, but his injury wasn’t life-threatening, WNDU reported.

Four other vehicles crashed while trying to stop, but nobody else was injured.

The bypass was cleared and reopened shortly after 10 a.m.
