SOUTH BEND — Taylor Swift made a cameo appearance at the University of Notre Dame’s 170th University Commencement Ceremony Sunday, May 17.

The pop star was in South Bend to watch her brother, Austin Swift, graduate from the university. She posted a video to Instagram showing the graduates seated in Notre Dame Stadium before turning the camera on herself to yell, “Yeah, Austin!”

The University of Notre Dame conferred more than 3,000 degrees during commencement ceremony, which took place at 9 a.m. Sunday.

Swift’s visit to South Bend was a short one. She is scheduled to appear at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas Sunday evening, according to the Associated Press.

She is the lead nominee with 14 nominations, and she will also debut her music video for “Bad Blood.”
