South Bend Cubs set third attendance record of the season

For the third time this season, the South Bend Cubs set an attendance record, as a new single-game franchise record 7,786 fans were on hand at Four Winds Field for the 3-2 win over Bowling Green on Friday, May 22.

The attendance mark broke the previous record of 7,575 set April 18. Before this season, the previous record was 7,287, which was set in July of 2013.

The Cubs return to Four Winds Field on Saturday, May 23, at 7:05 pm for another match-up with the Hot Rods.
