Michigan fan's obsession leads to a dozen Wolverines-themed tattoos

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — A Windsor, Ontario, man’s tattoo artist can get out just two colors when he walks in the door: maize and blue.

The Ann Arbor News reports that Jay Rhadigan shows his love for the Michigan Wolverines in the amount of ink on his body in those colors. So far he has 12 University of Michigan-themed tattoos.

The 40-year-old factory worker’s obsession began 27 years ago when he became a fan of the team as a 13-year-old growing up in Canada. That’s when he saw his first Michigan football game on TV. He later moved to Windsor, where his interest intensified.

He didn’t attend Michigan, but it didn’t stop him from getting his first Michigan tattoo when he was 21.
