St. Joseph County Metro Homicide is investigating after a man was found dead inside a home in South Bend on Tuesday, July 29.

Officers were called at about noon Tuesday about a home invasion in the 400 block of Corby Boulevard, according to FOX 28.

When police arrived, they found a man laying facedown at the back door of the home, WSBT reported. The man hasn’t been identified but is not a resident of the home.

The homeowner was also injured.

Police believe the incident was a burglary or home invasion, WSBT reported.
