SOUTH BEND WOMAN PLANS FAST, HEALTHY FOOD TRUCK
Zipping around in a food truck making fast, fresh vegan fare has been a dream of Jessie Miles’ for a while.
Miles, a vegan who works and lives in South Bend, has a vision for her food truck, The Grateful Green, and has plans to bring fresh food to people all around South Bend, according to 95.3 MNC’s partners at Flavor 574.
The menu will start with fresh options like salad, soup, oatmeal and juice/smoothies.
Miles has a truck lined up and will bring it home when the purchase is final. Once the truck is in South Bend she will purchase and install updated equipment. When she actually hits the road partially depends on when the city passes its proposed food truck ordinance.
