BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) — The latest on the 73rd annual Golden Globes nominations announced Thursday in Beverly Hills, California, by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (all times local):

7:10 a.m.

Streaming services have edged out traditional television and cable networks for the most nominations for the 73rd annual Golden Globe Awards.

Netflix leads all television creators with eight nominations, aided by its series “Orange Is the New Black” ‘‘House of Cards” and “Narcos.”

Amazon Video also picked up five nominations, with several for its shows “Transparent” and “Mozart in the Jungle.” Actors Jeffrey Tambor of “Transparent” and Gael García Bernal earned acting nominations for their work on the series.

Cable networks HBO and Starz earned seven and six nominations during Thursday’s announcement of the Globe nominations.

ABC received the most nominations of the traditional networks, with its show “American Crime” earning three of the network’s four nominations.

The Golden Globe Awards will air Jan. 10 on NBC.

Todd Haynes 1950s romance “Carol” landed a leading five nominations, including best dramatic picture, in nominations for the 73rd annual Golden Globes.

Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s nominations, announced Thursday in Beverly Hills, California, spread nods around to a widespread field. Landing four nominations were Adam McKay’s finance farce “The Big Short,” the Apple co-founder drama “Steve Jobs” and Alejandro Inarritu’s frontier epic “The Revenant.”

Joining “Carol” and “The Revenant” in nods for best picture drama are: “Mad Max: Fury Road,” ‘‘Room” and “Spotlight.”

Ricky Gervais returns as host for the Globes on Jan. 10.
