Homeowners scare off suspects who broke into their home

No injuries were reported after five suspects forced their way into a home in the 52000 block of N. Portage in South Bend.

Police were called to the home around 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12, according to WNDU.

When the homeowners returned, the five suspects took off, WNDU reported.

Some damage to the home was reported.

There was no word of any arrest as of Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
