Gov. Mike Pence to kick off Regional Cities grant awards in Elkhart on Tuesday

Indiana Gov. Mike Pence will kick off the Regional Cities grant awards during an event at the Lerner Theatre in downtown Elkhart on Tuesday, Dec. 22.

Pence will arrive at the Lerner at about 10:45 a.m. for the 11 a.m. event, which will be streamed online and available to watch on 953mnc.com.

The Northern Indiana region, comprised of St. Joseph, Elkhart and Marshall counties, was awarded one of three $42 million grants that will spur economic development in the region. The Northern Indiana plan has more than $700 million in private, public and philanthropic investments.
