Cass County meth bust leads to arrests of three adults

Three people were arrested after police found several meth labs, meth and guns in a home near Edwardsburg, Mich.

A 24-year-old man, 42-year-old man and 48-year-old woman are expected to be charged with manufacturing meth, manufacturing hazardous waste, possession with intent to distribute meth, possession of meth and felony firearm possession, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

The 42-year-old man and 48-year-old woman also had meth-related warrants from St. Joseph County (Ind.). The suspects’ names are being withheld until they’re arraigned.

Officers executed a warrant to search the home in the 71000 block of M-62 in Ontwa Township this week. Inside the home, they found meth, multiple one-pot meth labs. meth-making materials, meth paraphernalia, seven long guns and two handguns, the sheriff’s department said. One of the handguns was loaded.
