Election 2016: Register to vote in Indiana on Monday to vote in the May 3 primary

Hoosiers who want to vote in the Indiana primary on May 3 must register to vote or update their voter registration by the end of the day Monday, April 4.

Registration can be done quickly and easily online at the Indiana Voters website. Those who register online should have their driver’s license or photo ID nearby, as information on that card will be needed to register.

Voter registration can also be done by downloading an application from the Indiana Voters website and mailing it to the Indiana Election Division, 302 W. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46204.

Anyone wanting to register to vote in-person can visit any Bureau of Motor Vehicles office, at their county’s voter registration office, at the Indiana Election Division in Indianapolis or at local voter registration drives.
