Man shot in South Bend on Tuesday night

A man was hospitalized after he was shot in South Bend on Tuesday night, May 24.

The man was found lying in the street near the intersection of Wilbur Street and Vassar Avenue at about 6:30 p.m., our news partners ABC 57 reported. That’s on the near northwest side close to Muessel Grove Park

It’s not clear how seriously the man was injured.

Police did not announce any arrests by 8:50 a.m. Wednesday.
