The pilot of a small plane escaped serious injury after his aircraft crashed in Goshen.

The pilot was the only person on board.

The pilot was landing on a grass strip but the plane veered off into a ditch nearby, according to The Elkhart Truth.

Fuel from the plane leaked into the creek, until the pilot removed it with a tractor, ABC 57 reported.
