Amish boy, 7, airlifted after Marshall County crash

A 7-year-old boy was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital after the buggy he was in was hit by a car in Marshall County on Monday night, June 28.

The boy, three other boys and a man were ejected from the buggy when it was hit by a car at about 6 p.m. on U.S. 6 near the Pla-Mor Campground, according to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.

The three other boys and the man in the buggy were treated at Memorial Hospital. The buggy was destroyed in the crash.

The driver of the car was not hurt.

The crash remains under investigation.
