Elkhart shooting sends 21-year-old man to hospital

A 21-year-old man was hospitalized with serious injuries after a shooting in Elkhart on Monday morning, July 11.

The man was outside his home in the 2000 block of Morton Avenue when two suspects came up to him, WSBT reported. The three got into an argument and one of the suspects fired a gun at least twice.

The man was shot and his family took him to a nearby hospital. Police dispatched to the scene at about 10:30 a.m. found that a bullet had hit a window on a house in the 800 block of East Lusher Avenue.
