A home in South Bend was destroyed in a large fire late Thursday night, July 14.

The fire in the 3200 block of East Corby Boulveard was reported to the South Bend Fire Department just after 10 p.m., our news partners ABC 57 reported.

A witness told ABC57 he was riding his bike in the area when he saw the house fire. He said he saw a small explosion inside the house while he was watching it with other bystanders.

Nobody was home at the time of the fire, WNDU reported. No injuries were reported.
