Boost Mobile robbery photos released by Elkhart Police Department

Police in Elkhart have released surveillance photos of the men they believe robbed a cell phone store on Aug. 19.

Police were called to the store in the 700 block of South Main Street around 7:15 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 19, in regard to an alarm which was activated due to a robbery.

Two suspects entered the store, one of which displayed a handgun, and demanded the money. After taking an undetermined amount of money the suspects took off on foot.

The suspects were described as black males.

The robbery was captured on video and as part of the investigation detectives are releasing photos of one of the suspect.

The same store was robbed three times in August. The Aug. 8th robbery remains unsolved. Two arrests were made in the Aug. 31st robbery.
