There are 64 KMarts that are closing across the nation. Three of them are in Indiana, and one of them is in Michiana.

The Elkhart location is among the 64 stores that are closing, along with locations in Lafayette and Merrillville, according to Business Insider.

Seven locations in Michigan are also slated for closure: Alpena, Byron Center, Fenton, Grand Rapids, Jackson, Manistee, and Sault Saint Marie.

Sears Holdings announced the closures to employees Friday. Liquidation sales will start on Sept. 22. The doors will close for good by mid-Dec., according to Business Insider.

Sears has not publicly commented on the closures.
