Two shot in South Bend’s west side

Two people are recovering after being shot Saturday night in South Bend’s west side.

The shooting took place on the 700 block of Webster Street a little before 9 p.m. Saturday, according to WNDU.

A woman who was sitting in her house as hit by a bullet that went through the window. Meanwhile, a man who was working on his truck in an alley was shot in the leg, according to police.

One of the victims was still as the scene while the other walked to Memorial Hospital.

It’s unknown who the suspects are at this time, though police spent several hours at the scene.
