Michigan, Indiana voter registration deadlines arrive

LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Michigan residents wanting to vote in the Nov. 8 presidential election have one last day to register.

Tuesday is the deadline.

Applicants must be 18 years old by Election Day and be U.S. citizens. Voters can register by mail or in person at their county, city or township clerk’s office or by visiting any Secretary of State branch.

The mail-in form is available at www.michigan.gov/elections . Residents can check their registration status by visiting www.michigan.vote/vote .
