South Bend is the third best football city for renting out homes on football weekends

There’s a lot of money being made by South Bend landlords on Notre Dame football weekends.

In fact, a study says South Bend is the third most lucrative place in the nation for renting out homes on football nights, according to the South Bend Tribune.

Homes are rented out for an average of almost $1,300 the night of a Fighting Irish football game, according to HomeAway.

South Bend trailed only Ann Arbor, Michigan and Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Ann Arbor landlords get about $1,665 on University of Michigan gamedays, while ‘Bama fans rent out homes for an average of $1,328 on Crimson Tide gamedays.
