Seven months after letting go their last president, Lake Michigan College may be nearing a new one.
The Berrien County college has whittled down the list of candidates for its new college president to four candidates, according to ABC 57:
- Dr. Trevor Kubatzke, Vice President of Student Services at Milwaukee Area Technical College.
- Dr. Jon Mandrell, Vice President of Student Services at Sauk Valley community college in Illinois.
- Dr. Orinthia Montague, Vice President for Student Affairs and Chief Diversity Officer at Normandale Community College in Minnesota.
- Dr. Rebekah Woods, Provost of Jackson College in Jackson, Michigan.
These four survived a field of 92 applicants. Each one was picked based on leadership, fiscal management and collaboration skills with local business, government, and K-12 schools.
The final pick is expected in mid-January.
