(Sgt. Stephen Wheeles/Indiana State Police)

It happened again. This time, it was in southern Indiana.

A turkey flew into an Indiana State Police trooper’s windshield Wednesday evening on S.R. 56 near Scottsburg.

The officer wasn’t hurt.

This is the second time in a week a turkey has flown into a windshield of a moving vehicle in Indiana. A family heading home from Notre Dame had a turkey get impaled on their windshield on U.S. 20 in LaPorte on Tuesday.
