Send-off for Notre Dame’s Frozen Four hockey team to take place Tuesday night

The send-off for the Notre Dame hockey team will take place Tuesday night.

They’re heading to the Frozen Four, and you can send them on their way at 6 p.m. Tuesday outside of the Compton Family Ice Arena.

Fans and students wishing to offer the team their own virtual stick-tap are encouraged to begin lining up outside of the front entrance of the Compton Arena at 5:30 p.m.

The 4th-seeded Irish will take on first overall seed Denver at 9:30 p.m. Thursday. Notre Dame advanced to their third Frozen Four in the last ten years by defeating UMass-Lowell in New Hampshire last week.

Only Hockey powerhouse schools North Dakota and Boston College have been to more Frozen Four tournaments in the last decade, with five apiece.
