Woman uninjured in South Bend house fire

A house fire Saturday night in South Bend is under investigation.

Firefighters were called to the home at 1526 Fremont St. Saturday night around 8 p.m.

One woman was in the home and escaped through a back window without injury. Crews reportedly fought the fire for only about ten minutes.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
