“I hate you.”

Those words were reportedly written on the side of a vehicle following shots being fired at Polito’s Pizzeria at McKinley and Hickory Roads in South Bend, according to WNDU.

It happened Tuesday and appears to have stemmed from a domestic dispute. Officers say a man shot at his girlfriend’s vehicle several times and then wrote the words “I hate you” on the vehicle.

The woman ran into the restaurant to hide. She was not hit by the gunfire and there were no injuries.

At last word, police are still looking for the suspect.
