LaGrange County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating reports of gunfire at a church near South Milford.

Deputies were called Friday to Community Baptist Church on East 700 South northwest of South Milford, according to ABC 57.

Deputies found that someone had shot at the exterior of the church six times. Two of the shots went through the exterior walls and landed inside the church.

Officers say the damage occurred sometime between last Wednesday, May 17 and Friday, May 19.
