Woman arrested on meth-related charges after traffic stop in South Bend

A traffic stop led to the arrest of a woman on meth-related charges.

An Indiana State Police Trooper pulled the woman over near Ironwood and Lincolnway in South Bend on Wednesday, May 24.

A South Bend Police Department K-9 officer was brought in to assist with a search of the vehicle. Investigators found methamphetamine, glass pipes and pills, according to an Indiana State Police report.

Andert was transported to the St. Joseph County Jail for a parole warrant along and preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of legend drug, and possession of controlled substance, the police report stated.
